Startling revelations at a press conference given yesterday have revealed the Order of Shadokil, the much-feared assassins, are merely a smokescreen to conceal Tanelorn's plans to conquer the whole MUD.

"Shadokil are, and always have been merely a subsidiary of Tanelorn," clan leader Ab Domen stated yesterday. "Now that raiding is approaching re-opening, we felt the time was right to reveal our manifest destiny."

"All your base are belong to us," he added.

Standing behind Domen were the puppet leaders of the former Shadokil, underneath the new 'Shadolorn' flag, featuring a red and white pyramid with a single, all-seeing eye. "We acknowledge our ties to our true masters", said Slith, "And look forward to furthering their plans to take over the world in the very near future."

"I have here a list", said Domen, producing several large sheafs of paper, "of every person who has publicly made fun of Tanelorn since our clanhall was first built. Please form an orderly queue, we will be working through you all in alphabetical order."

We approached other clans for comments on this development, but their hall doors appeared to be firmly bolted shut.
